• The Raigarh Project will be located in village Lohakhan, District Raigarh State Chhattisgarh.The project has a planned generation capacity of 1320 MW, consisting of two units of 660 MW each.
• The company has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding and subsequently an Implementation Agreement with the Government of Chhattisgarh in connection with this project.
• We have also received an in-principle approval for the acquisition of land from the Government of Chhattisgarh, following which we have made an application to the SIPB, Chhattisgarh for the acquisition of 1,045 acres of land.
• We have already received 36 mcm per year water allocation for this project.
• We have also made an application to the Ministry of Coal, Government of India for a coal linkage for this project.
• The terms of reference for environmental clearance have been issued and the environmental impact assessment studies have been undertaken. The draft report of the environmental impact assessment studies has been filed with the SPCB, Chhattisgarh for conducting public hearings.
• We have also received approval for chimney height from the Airports Authority of India.
• We have also made an application to PGCIL for providing open access for the transmission of power.
